About NRG Dance Company

Where Passion Meets Purpose, and Every Dancer Belongs.

Founded in October 2008 by Sarah Satterfield and her mother, Dawn, NRG Dance Company began with a shared dream: to create a place where dancers could feel safe, supported, challenged, and inspired. What started as a vision between a mother and daughter has grown into an award-winning dance studio and a community built on passion, dedication, and family.

Now celebrating Season 19, NRG Dance Company continues to provide quality dance education on the westside of Indianapolis, offering both recreational and competitive programs. While our studio has grown and evolved over the years, our mission has remained the same: to create an environment where every dancer has the opportunity to discover their potential, develop their confidence, and find their place within the arts.

At NRG, we believe dance is about so much more than steps, technique, and trophies. It's about building character, developing lifelong friendships, learning the value of hard work, and discovering what you're capable of achieving. We encourage our dancers to embrace their individuality, push beyond their comfort zones, and celebrate both their personal accomplishments and the successes of those around them.

Our studio is built on a foundation of kindness, respect, inclusivity, and community. We welcome dancers of all backgrounds, abilities, and experience levels, recognizing that every dancer's journey is unique. Whether stepping into a dance class for the very first time or pursuing advanced competitive and professional opportunities, every student deserves to feel valued, encouraged, and inspired.
