Hip Hop Foundations I is a high-energy class designed for dancers ages 5–8 who love to move, groove, and have fun! This beginner-level class introduces the fundamentals of hip hop through age-appropriate music, movement, and choreography while encouraging creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
Dancers will learn basic hip hop technique, rhythm, coordination, musicality, and body control through games, drills, across-the-floor exercises, and fun combinations. Students will build strength, balance, and performance skills while developing a strong foundation in one of today's most popular dance styles.
Perfect for both boys and girls, Hip Hop Foundations I provides a positive and exciting environment where dancers can gain confidence, make friends, and discover their unique style. No previous dance experience is required!
Ages 10+ | Tuesdays | 6:15–7:00 PM
Hip Hop Foundations II is designed for dancers ages 10 and older who are ready to build confidence, develop strong movement skills, and explore the exciting world of hip hop. This energetic class focuses on rhythm, musicality, coordination, strength, and performance while introducing more advanced hip hop techniques and combinations.
Dancers will learn foundational grooves, footwork, isolations, freestyle concepts, and choreography while developing body awareness and stage presence. Classes are designed to challenge students while encouraging creativity, individuality, and self-expression in a positive and supportive environment.
Whether your dancer is new to hip hop or looking to strengthen their skills, Hip Hop Foundations II provides the perfect opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun while moving to today's most exciting music and styles.
